The Margaux most clearly demonstrated what a minimalist bag means.
No logos or flashy hardware. It speaks only through its shape, material, and craftsmanship. Every detail, from the curved sides to the hand-painted edge finish, has a purpose. Matte-finished grained calfskin, belted side gussets, protective metal feet—the structure itself is the design.
The soft and lightweight Margaux creates a unique presence through the way its silhouette subtly collapses. The interior is lined with herringbone cotton, giving it an undeniably luxurious finish when opened.

Despite using full-grain calf leather, the weight is kept at 1,200g by using linen for the lining. Considering urban commuting with a laptop, 1,200g is close to the practical upper limit for a business bag. The understanding that "lightness is also a specification" is reflected in the design. It also comes with a shoulder strap, making it suitable for situations where both hands need to be free.
03. Maison Takuya｜Container Tote L / Maison Takuya Container Tote L
The exterior uses Perlinger's Shrunken Calf—leather from a prestigious German tannery also adopted by luxury brands like Hermès. The interior is luxuriously lined with lamb leather, making the moment you open the bag exceptionally pleasant. The decision to use high-quality materials both inside and out shows the maker's commitment.
Hand-stitched with contrasting linen thread at their in-house workshop in Thailand. The spacing and tension of these stitches create a "breathing" texture that industrial products simply cannot replicate. It's a bag where the honesty of craftsmanship is felt the moment you touch it.
At 1,450g, it's relatively heavy. Yet, I can't let go of it because the texture of the leather is irreplaceable.
ba2 U-TOTE / ba2 U-TOTE
The Italian Mastrotto cowhide, awarded an LWG Gold medal, has a distinct grain and a pleasant, soft touch, making it scratch-resistant. By using Alcantara for the lining (car enthusiasts might be more familiar with the name), we maintain a suede-like texture while keeping the weight down to approximately 1,050g, so carrying a laptop or other items is not a burden. In addition to internal pockets, it comes with an Alcantara card case, offering practical storage for small keys and writing instruments.
The silhouette is thoroughly streamlined, with the bag's curved form and a single German hook accent fitting perfectly into any setting.
