Portugal's excellent ecosystem provides access to many unique sole and shoe components. The Porto Low features a recycled sole made from rice waste. This not only makes it more sustainable, but the reused waste creates a natural pattern, adding an accent to the minimalist design.

Handmade in Portugal, a renowned hub for luxury footwear

 Portugal has a long history as a manufacturing hub for luxury footwear in Europe, cultivating an excellent shoe ecosystem.In homage to Portugal's shoemaking culture, this model is named "Porto Low," after the beautiful port city of Porto in Portugal.

Furthermore, because Portugal's shoe ecosystem is well-established, there has been investment in advanced equipment. This allows for a clear distinction between processes that benefit from human craftsmanship and those that can be efficiently mechanized. The machine shown here, for example, cuts leather efficiently and without waste.
