The grain of shrink leather not only offers functionality by making scratches less noticeable, but also expressive power that changes its appearance depending on how the light hits it, which is something we love.

Sustainable recycled sole made from rice waste

Portugal's excellent eco-system means there are many sole and shoe components available there that cannot be found elsewhere. The Porto Low uses a recycled sole made from "rice waste." Not only is it more sustainable, but the repurposed waste creates a natural pattern, adding an accent to the minimalist design.

 Portugal has a long history as a production hub for luxury shoes in Europe, and has cultivated an excellent shoe ecosystem.In homage to Portugal's shoemaking culture, this model is named "Porto Low," after the beautiful port city of Porto in Portugal.

Moreover, because Portugal has a well-established shoe ecosystem, investments in cutting-edge equipment have been made, carefully discerning which processes benefit from manual craftsmanship and which should be optimized by machines. This machine, used for cutting leather, can efficiently cut leather without waste.
