The first point is the desire to streamline the distribution structure of premium sneakers, which had a layered structure, to "Brand (a) → Customer (b)".

2. The simpler, the more "customer-centric" it is.

Therefore, the end user b comes first.
In the distribution structure that includes previous wholesalers, there were multiple customers. Besides the final end users, wholesalers were also customers. Due to economies of scale, communication with wholesale customers often became more intensive, and even when there was a desire to improve products, situations arose where it could not be done quickly due to the inventory of wholesalers or the relationships with them. This is a common scenario in the industry.

At ba2, we do not engage in wholesale and define end users as our only customers. By selling exclusively through our direct channels, we aim to provide maximum value to our customers.

 

In the third place,We carry the aspiration to innovate the industry (1.0→2.0).
In the shoe industry, it has been found that pricing is set with the expectation of accumulating inventory or that wholesalers will sell off excess stock in order to expand their distribution channels. (※① In the buyout method, unsold items are discounted for sale, and ② In the consignment sales method, since items are not purchased outright, extra orders are placed to avoid missing sales, leading to accumulated inventory.) We hope to innovate the industry not only by manufacturing and selling shoes but also through various initiatives.

In the fourth place,
Maximizing the population of challengers through contributions to the startup scene and startup community. It is about fostering an atmosphere where we coexist with uncertainty, not fearing failure and not knowing if we will succeed (Embrace Ambiguity). ba2 can also be read as (batsu). I believe that having a mindset that can tame the batsu and diligently executing strategies is the only shortcut to success. From the ground up, we would be delighted if ba2 could support success.
